Turn Our Focus

As a minister, and I would say as a Christian, I get caught up in lessons, activities, and fellowship opportunities within the church. All of these things are vital to the church, but sometimes I believe I miss the bigger picture. You may be in full agreement with this thought, finding yourself divulged in the ever so prevalent drama of life as a believer.

It is crucial that we turn our eyes to the elephant in the room: people are lost.

Souls are being torn, crashed upon, and trampled. And we are standing idle, watching.
Encourage me as I will you, that we share hope to the lost.
The hope of salvation because of Christ.

This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast…
Hebrews 6:19
