Crash the Chatterbox

The book Crash the Chatterbox is quite interesting. Steven Furtick does a very fine job in his overall theme of hearing when God speaks to you. His encouraging words of overcoming fear and lies are uplifting to every Christian. We are struggle from day to day trying to find purpose in this life. We must let the negative chatter that is dwelling in our hearts leave us and focus more on the life we have in God. A quote that sums up a majority of the book is found in the latter half of the book: “My joy is not determined by what happens to me. But what Christ is doing in me and through me.” These are beautiful and strong words that help us understand that even though we have trails and struggles in our life, Christ is here for us, we just must listen to His voice found in the Scripture.

I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
