Unconditional

If you look up the definition for the word unconditional, you will read a variation of the following:

“not limited in any way : complete and absolute.”

Now, take that definition, and remember it because that is the true rendering of the love of God.

14 For this reason I <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29266AL" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AL)”>bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name, 16 that He would grant you, according to <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29268AM" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AM)”>the riches of His glory, to be <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29268AN" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AN)”>strengthened with power through His Spirit in <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29268AO" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AO)”>the inner man,17 so that <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29269AP" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AP)”>Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29269AQ" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AQ)”>rooted and <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29269AR" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AR)”>grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29270AS" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AS)”>all the saints what is <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29270AT" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AT)”>the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29271AU" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AU)”>the love of Christ which <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29271AV" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AV)”>surpasses knowledge, that you may be <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29271AW" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AW)”>filled up to all the <span class="crossreference" data-cr="#cen-NASB-29271AX" style="box-sizing: border-box; line-height: 22px; position: relative; top: 0px; vertical-align: top;" value="(AX)”>fullness of God.

This is my encouragement to you and I, which includes youth, college, adults, elderly, everyone who calls on the Lord as the Savior:

God loves us. This love is real. Paul believed that and told others about it. He believed it was a real, substantial, measurable fact, he had considered it this way, and that way, and the other way, and it was evidently real to him, whatever it might be to others. This love is the same then as it is now. REAL.
His love has width, it has length, depth, and height. How big is this love? Look at the cross, there you find your answer. You discover that this love takes you as you are, human. A being with problems, with worry, with depression, with addiction, with triumphs and failures, with baggage. With sin.
Let God love you and let that love shine to others so that they too can see the love that points in all directions, the cross.
