I feel as though I must comment or talk about something that many need to hear today, especially young people. To start off:
I am a 24 year old man who enjoys being outside, spending time with friends, studying, reading, and playing anything that has to do with a frisbee. I enjoy working with kids. I am in the military. I think that’s about it. Oh, and I am a virgin.
Everything, according to this world, seems normal about the above true statement about me. Except for one thing, being a virgin. That’s the sad thing. The norm today is that one can have the same-sex partner, one can be an alcoholic, one can smoke weed if they like, it’s okay to gamble, and did I mention that it’s okay to have sex before marriage?
No! It’s not okay. You are something special. God made you the way that you are. You are his. The love story will always be that way. So, before you give yourself to someone, give yourself to God. He wants that commitment and he wants you to have that commitment to someone else:
Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled – The Hebrew Writer, 13:4
